April 28, 2024 - Again quite rich but not very structure or aromatic. Settled on aged New World Pinot.

April 27, 2024 - Double-blind. Never had this wine before. I actually preferred this to the two Raya served earlier. Burgundian and weightless, very good wine.

April 26, 2024 - Jason's birthday: Brought for a friend. Burgundian nose but palate was a little tannic and alcoholic than I would have liked, most guessed northern Rhone possibly because of the hint of herbaceousness. Became more elegant with air but still too much cherry kirsch and garrigue for me. Badly in need of more time.

    December 23, 2023 - Bottle decanted for 2+ hours.
Not expressive and did not show strong potential.

December 4, 2022 - Popped & poured, lots going on the nose, chargrilled meat, bacon, toffee, constantly evolving, after 2 hours vanilla & roasted coffee beans, on the palate medium bodied, rich, sweet, exquisite balance & mouthfeel, been a while since my last Celestins, stellar ‘big boy’ juice

November 6, 2020 - Decanted for 3+ hours with wide decanter. Further decant for 30-45 min at the restaurant. This bottle is more vibrant and offers more fruit (compared to 04) with smoothness in palate. Further open up after another 30 min in the glass. Full body and medium finishing

June 27, 2020 - PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Fruit” day): Bright medium ruby with very slightly bricking rim.

Intial impression: Savoury, fine white spices. High definition, prestine ruby berry fruits here.

Very refined palate of a lot more fruit than the nose, very finely textured, ripe tannins. Just great on the finish with superb detailed fruits.

What a elegant CDP... 94 points solid.

2nd round: herbal, garrigue and cinnamon, much more white spices on the palate. Nice!

March 29, 2020 - Savoured during Covid lockdown, needed my favourite Cdp to ease away the blues, decanted for 1.5 hours & drank over 3 hours, at start sweet nose, ripe cherries, then black fruits, meaty, savoury, herbs, Earth, complex & ever changing nose, in the mouth medium bodied, silky tannins, long finish, lovely balance, drinking well now, wow wine!

January 5, 2019 - Medium red; fruity licorice nose; soft rich attack, well-balanced acidity, slightly dry tannins at the end; quite good
