May 17, 2019 - All class. Cassis, dark berries, cherry. Dried gum leaves and dust. An earthiness. Excellent balance. Fine tannin carries it long. Has a few years ahead of it I reckon.

April 9, 2019 - Nose is initially rich with that hint of engine oil you get in Australian reds. On the palate however, it's fairly mute. It begins to open up after 30-60 minutes decant. Day 2, it has opened out significantly, shedding the heavy aromas and taking on a much more European profile. A fine line of dark berries, embedded in a mineral shroud, ample tannin still in support. A clean moderate finish rounds it off nicely. It continues to improve over 2 more days.

February 17, 2014 - In my humble opinion the best value for money Boudreaux blend wine in the WA region from the best region in WA, WilyaBrup. The wine maker Clive Otto has been in the region for 16 years and has won winemaker of the year with the big wineries. This is an elegant easy drinking bright expression of dark fruits and bitter chocolate with some nice fine tannins to boot. It will last 10 years but also drinks really well now. Buy them by the dozen and rejoice that great wine does not always mean empty pockets

August 25, 2013 - This was very surprising. This is so soft and elegant that it can be mistaken for a Pinot albeit a rich one . Supple silky fresh currant berry and plum fruits all lightly extracted. A fragrant enticing wine. Very Bordeaux.
