March 19, 2021 - Bottle is still quite youthful. Medium tannins, more modern style.

October 21, 2017 - Someone left this at my house years ago. Pop and pour, this is another challenging Italian wine. Very dry, still tannic even though the flavor profile is quite mature. Stewed fruit, leather. This is an ok food wine that does not offer much pleasure beyond that. It has a nice nose.

January 1, 2013 - I liked this wine mostly because I love Nebbiolo. It seemed a bit closed. Classic Nebbiolo nose: earth, forest floor, a hint of floral, low level of dark fruit on the palate, definitely some tannin which became less noticeable with food as expected.

September 13, 2012 - Expensive for what you get, but tasty and i like this style. Light, bright cherry/berry fruit with a touch of rose/floral note. Acid is nice and tannin is just there and acts as a nice backbone to the rest of the lighter affaire. I would buy more maybe, but is pushing 30$ CAN and similar styles could be found for ~15$

February 22, 2012 - Tasted at Byntze in HH

Eye: nice dark crimson. Nose: smoke, cherries, spice. Palate: solid structure, tannic but balanced after breathing, long finish
