March 5, 2024 - Drank a few weeks ago at a private dinner and this delivered exactly what we were looking for with its typical Margaux profile of dark red / black fruit, smooth tannins and flavors of earth, tobacco with hints of dark chocolate and a finish that lingers for nearly a minute. Excellent wine that needs to decant at least an hour to unfurl. Rich, nuanced and fulfilling - glad I have a few more bottles. IMO this is ready to drink now but careful cellaring will yield at least 5-7 more years of pleasant drinking before it starts to peak.

January 9, 2024 - Dark, full-bodied. Ready to drink, but producer strikes me as over-rated
December 28, 2023 - Maybe a misfiring bottle? Or was there just a hint of TCA that chipped away the life and beauty of this wine. Either way this did not feel at par with what we expected nor with the notes below so we will not rate. If we had to it would have been 88-89
November 24, 2023 - Drinking very well now, decanted 2hrs
November 4, 2023 - Really enjoyed this. Still fairly primary but good depth and finish.
October 15, 2023 - Big nose on the wine with hunny buns and blackcurrant. Gave the wine a 2 hour decant and the palate still felt a little muted, not sure if it needs more age or a longer decant. Even with the muted palate this was an excellent wine and would highly recommend.
September 18, 2023 - Still shy. 24 open in decanter softened the coiled up fruit and tannins.
Leave this one down for s few years yet.
August 29, 2023 - 5th bottle from a case bought en primeur. Huge Margaux nose of violets. Later sweet blackcurrant and leather. Full bodied. Then mineral and blueberry in the mouth. Tannins a little grainy this time but these will settle down again and promise a long future. Very long penetrating finish. Empty glass smells of cedar. Drinking well now and will have an extraordinarily long life. Depending on your taste drink now or in 50 years. This is a wine that will age beautifully. Glorious. Best wine I've had in some time.
August 16, 2023 - Dekantert. Noe fersk, men behag. Frukt. Pent hakk opp dag 2.
June 27, 2023 - After 5 hours opened in bottle this started to come around, very feminine wine with blue fruits and bakers spice. a bit sweet compared to the other Bordeaux. If on its own would have shined more but up against a great wine, none the less, for $110 a bottle this is in a really good place.. Damn good wine..
