February 16, 2024 - I only have one more left in my cellar, if you have some drink now so good.
December 10, 2023 - Exquisite on the nose. Very precise dark fruit, with blackberry, blueberry, black currant and sweet black cherry. Tobacco, a touch of vanilla, thyme, well integrated subtle oak, balsamic and wet forest floor. Very much the same fruit on the palate, maybe some plum as well. Medium to full body with medium tannins. Outstanding balance with nice acidity. In a great drinking window and paired perfectly with a ribeye steak.
April 14, 2022 - This is a nice wine but quite singular - don't go looking for excitement or mystery here as there are none. An uninvolving wine.
Bright ruby red - a rather smoky nose that dominates any fruits that may be there but you can sense red fruits and perhaps a hint of blackberry. The body is simple, clean and loud. Quite good quality and tannin was medium although beginning to fade. A bright wine.
Drink now or 4+ years.
November 7, 2021 - Drinking well now; enjoyable right after decanting and very good with strip loin. Still some stuffing to last the next few years.
April 17, 2021 - Wow...this is big. A lot of fruit and tannin still. This 2010 still had a lot of life at 11 years old. Paired nicely with beef stew. A definite buy!
March 1, 2021 - Veldig god vin med god balanse, lang, mørke frukter, jordlig, fyldig men uten å være for tung, myke og godt integrerte tanniner
February 5, 2021 - Dark garnet. Medium+ intensity aromas - cassis, plum, prune, earth, clove, smoke, pencil lead, cedar. Developing. Dry palate, medium acidity, med+ fine tannins, a little frying, med alcohol, med+ body. Med+ finish. Lots of fruit, quite extracted, but balanced by the structure. This is drinking well now and over next few years. Very good quality but lacks real depth and complexity to be outstanding. Perfect for a lockdown Friday night.
December 11, 2020 - Perfect at this stage, with a very obvious bordeaux-nose, dark fruits but also classic leadpencil, leather. has entered a more mature stage, really good.
November 16, 2020 - Okay but not great.
October 27, 2020 - Well balanced but a slightly drying finish. All in order though here and a very enjoyable drop. Drink over the next few two years
