January 7, 2024 - Maybe a little “dull” right now, classic tobacco and pencil shavings, dark fruits, and bottle age showing, plenty opportunity to further develop.

October 14, 2023 - This was beautiful. Tannins have fully resolved with plenty of pencil shavings and black currants. This might be the best bottle I've had of this so far. It's not as long as I would want on the finish but is a great drink nonetheless.

Would drink this now. Not sure how much more, if it all, this will benefit from more bottle age.

July 22, 2023 - This was good. There is definitely some bottle variation with these though as the last bottle I had of this seemed off. Here, the tannins have resolved with good tertiary notes.

I’m not sure how much better this gets. Would want a bit more complexity but doesn’t seem to want to give it.

May 25, 2023 - Decanted for 2 hours, back into cleaned bottle. Nice easy Bordeaux if maybe a bit nondescript. Plums, dark fruits, wood spice, tobacco and some wet earth. Medium bodied, with resolving tannins and decent balance. Good, steady easy to drink, cellar defender.

May 15, 2023 - This has not changed much since the first note, was hoping for added complexity but that has not developed and likely will not at this point. No reason to continue to sit on this if you have it in the cellar.
