August 13, 2023 - Deep garnet. Concentrated nose of cherry, plums, leather, and vanilla. Full-bodied, with smooth tannin and low acidity. The mouthfeel is so smooth and juicy that reminds me of New England IPA. The finish is long, fruity, with notes of mountain hawthorn and cigarrette, but a bit too sweet. The style of this wine is so unique that I feel difficult to rate it.
The 2012 vintage I tasted last year makes me feel it tried its best to be gorgeous, but this 2010 is definitely a born beauty.1 person found this helpful Comment -

August 7, 2023 - From magnum….It was difficult to give a final score. the fruit is exuberant and silky, and even in this vintage the tannins are well judged and harmonious, classic merlot and classic TR. I’d give it a higher score except that 15.5% alcohol can’t quite hide itself in the finish

May 26, 2023 - One hour decant …. very energetic and engaging from
First pour. Loads of spice acid fruit earth and sun. Calmed down after an hour or two. Amazing and lovely exciting and fresh. Not your typical right bank.2 people found this helpful Comment -

June 21, 2022 - Medium deep ruby. Robust nose of black fruits with licorice. Dry, bright acidity, grainy tannins, palate follows through. Medium body. Good balance. Medium finish. Can rest.
