June 18, 2022 - Wow! This tastes like its 1.8 years old, not 18. Very primary and loads of rich bright fruit. Some complexity showing (meaty, savory, black pepper). I have 1 more bottle and I'm going to hold on to it for as long as I can.

August 22, 2021 - Tremulous after reading previous posts; rewarded by Syrah nose, good balance, sweet fruit and mature meaty flavors. Cork was expectedly crumbling. Decanted 1/2 hour before consumption.
Good Luck to all who have some left.

August 23, 2020 - Given the drink by date, pleasantly surprised at how nicely it drank straight out of the bottle. However glass life was very short. Would loved to have had this years ago.

    Not very good.

August 25, 2016 - Surprisingly good for a poorly rated wine whose drink by date was 2013. On popping the cork, tasted a bit like stringent cherry syrup. Didn't appear to be too appetizing. But after about two hours became a full bodied multilayered black-blue-red fruit wine that still had some (maybe a bit more than desired) acid but was enjoyable. Good finish. Don't usually type this much but surprisingly good and quite inexpensive. Have two more bottles so will see if attitude changes.
