  January 2, 2017 - Very good for the price of $25 back in 2013. I hate to think what I would get for that money now if I went looking for a bottle of Red Burgundy. This is a fantastic wine that is definitely on the more masculine side. Dark fruits and spice with a savory finish.

  April 25, 2016 - Opened one hour in advance. Aromas of red fruit with earthy notes. Tart cherry flavors up front. Plush cherry finish. Well structured, linear, good staying power. Very good for the price.

  February 23, 2015 - Transparent garnet with clear meniscus. Aromas of black cherry, red licorice, mushroom, tar, and wet earth. Medium+ body, acid, and finish, with flavors of black cherry, red licorice, and oak spice. Tannins present just enough for a bit of structure, but pretty integrated. Better than I recall the '08 being, but it's been a minute, so I'll revisit soon. 90+

  December 12, 2014 - Pretty strong and bright red fruit (cherry), slight minerality. Nice acidity. Really enjoyable. Good finish.
