March 25, 2024 - 2 1/2 hour decant and still shows semi-resolved, round, meaty tannins. I can only imagine how big this wine was at release.

Silly, silly. Dark chocolate cooking bar, smooth expresso, sweet tarriness, anise-black licorice, mocha, caramel, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanillin, dark, resolved spice, blackberries, black raspberries, black plum & very, dark cherries. Fresh & candied, lavender, violets round acidity, balance, nice tension, structure, well knitted and really well polish lush, finish that lasts 90 seconds.

Yes, there are Sonoma Cabernet producers that stand right in there w/ Napa. This is certainly one.

June 19, 2021 - Rich cassis and blackberry notes. Long finish but thinner than expected. Acids haven’t mellowed with age. Drinking well now but might improve with further cellaring.

April 11, 2020 - This was an amazing red. It can still store more years. Drank over 3 days. Prior to this a day getting to room temp. Uncorked 6+ hours day1 and then decanted an hour. Big, bold, tight, berry full but not fruit forward. A little alcoholy but acceptable. Stopped after half a glass as it was to young.
Poured back into decanter, plastic wrap the opening.
Day 2, uncovered a few hours before next round. It had softened up more. Paired great with cheeses. Still felt it could open up more. Last glass I left in decanter and same process.
Day3. Drinkable but there was a mild but constant back flavor of tequila.
Overall, exceptional wine. I’d rate it a 95 but I felt it was too young
