  August 1, 2020 - Wonderful nose of tobacco, black fruits, and spices. On the palate, wonderful dark black and deep red fruit with a hint of creme de cassis, vanilla, oak, and some tannin structure still lingering around. Glad I still have one more to enjoy of these. Always enjoy Sherwin Family wines.

  November 2, 2018 - opened this for my son and his new bride just a few days before they move to Aussie... this was so nice... Sherwin does it again -- I am a fan of the feminine side but this wine is the perfect "big boy" cab for me... bold but not over the top, great structure and big fruit that goes toe to toe with the structure, something for everyone's style preference... Mr. or Ms. Sherwin (who I would love to meet) must be a genius (or made scientist -- as many fine wine makers are)

  July 17, 2016 - pnp'd at restaurant... freakn awesome, still lots of fruit, tannins now integrated pretty nicely but no noticeable bricking or dustiness, delicious drinking..so sad, all gone
