February 28, 2021 - This wine makes no sense. It is so good, 12 years from vintage and was $27/btl. Excellent concentration of red cherries, balanced and a nice finish.

March 4, 2020 - Stylish Burgundy, with body and length.

September 15, 2019 - Solid, enjoyable wine. Great QPR for the age, still has lots of life left. Bigger and more powerful than expected, good for pairing with food.

First quick pour out of the bottle, nose was nearly non-existent, palate was very muted, but alcohol still present. Decanted for 45 minutes, the wine opened up nicely.

Med body, med acidity, relatively high alcohol (14%). Nose much more vibrant after the decant, with fruit and floral notes. Palate has lots of tart red fruits (cranberry, pomegranate) with some cherry cola and dried earthy leaves. The longer it decanted, the more oaky vanilla and baking spice notes shown through. Tannins present and drying, with a nice finish. Balanced, round with depth of flavor, but not very complex. Paired well with Chinese roasted duck and pork chops.
