June 6, 2022 - This bottle was disgorged almost 12 years ago. Initially the wine is very rich and ripe, mature red fruit like strawberry jam. With air, elegance and freshness come sneaking. A nice, but relatively simple and slightly sweet rose with some bitterness on finish. In a good place now.

September 10, 2020 - Drinking very nicely with a touch of oxidation that adds complexity.

    September 7, 2019 - (Disgorged in 2010, 66% PN and 34% CH, dosage 8-10 gr/l)
Copper red colour with a fine stream of bubbles and a maturing nose still showing some freshness with wild strawberries, minerals, flowers and a touch of coffee and roasted bread in a delicious way. Lovely creaminess on the palate with strawberries, red apples acidity and with a nice and lengthy finish dominated by more wild strawberries again. This has transforms perfectly into its second phase with maturing notes combined with some primary freshness still. This is lovely now, but should reward further cellaring as it will transform showing coffee and truffles.

    May 21, 2019 - (Disgorged in 2010, 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay, dosage 8-10 gr/l)
Lovely orange pink colour with stream of very fine bubbles that lead way for the maturing nose showing strawberry jam, hazelnuts and citrus flowers in a very pleasant way. Smoothing acidity on the palate dominated by strawberries and a nice and creamy texture on the mid, before moving over to the lengthy finish focused on cherry stone bitterness in a very pleasant and positive way. This was an excellent showing tonight and it was very easy to drink with the last rays of sunshine going down in the garden as I could heard the blackbird singing..

July 22, 2018 - Light copper/deep salmon colour. A powerful and somewhat developed nose with strawberries, cocktail cherries, red and yellow apples, some citrus, toast and brioche notes, hints of decaying leaves and undergrowth, some black pepper and other spice notes. Medium(+) body, mixed apples, strawberries and other red berries, some citrus, fine concentration of fruit, good acidity, mineral notes, some spice notes, and a fresh aftertaste with apples and berries. A food-friendly rosé Champagne that drinks well now but only begins to show mature notes, so can definitely develop further. 91-92 pts.

    Tasted alongside the 2011.
