May 12, 2017 - PnP and drank over 3 hours before, during and after a steak dinner. This wine is not what you expect. Different, but not a bad different. Nearly opaque purplish-red. Medium body. Long, complex finish. I couldn't identify the flavors. It's not a wine I want every day, but it is a nice change of pace.

May 29, 2015 - Still retains its full-bodied structure. Lots of forward oaky vanilla

May 2, 2015 - Wow, what an amazing cab! Spice on nose. Then big, full-bodied with great tannins. After an hour, softens into a delicious elegance.

October 27, 2013 - When I first opened this bottle, I poured about a 5 oz glass, then allowed the open bottle and glass of wine sit for about 90 min. At that point, I took a sip from the glass and noted the wine's highly tannic structure. This wine still has many more years in the bottle! After another 30 I drank another sip and found it much more mellow. On the nose were anis and vanilla, fabulously balanced aromatic. In the mouth I detected plum, a bit of anis, and the same vanilla as on the nose, but there was also a bit of a spice. The finish was mostly subtle vanilla with the spice quickly evaporating. This was a great bottle of wine, and I suspect that it will become fabulous in just a couple of years.
