December 3, 2017 - Very dark. Note from second night: vanilla, black berries and sage. Salty tang, velvety and full bodied fruit and oak. Lip smacking finish due to the nice acid. This is ready now and has a decade of fine drinking ahead of it.

November 4, 2017 - Excellent wine, lots of red berry on the nose, smooth long finish. Opened up after 1 hour decanted

August 13, 2017 - For a Barossa shiraz this has good structure and balance. There is power in the fruit that does not overwhelm, with a firm tannin backbone. No signs of age yet, so may be another decade of fine drinking.

October 18, 2016 - Bold and flavoursome Barossa shiraz. Plenty of fruit on the nose. Blueberry and black fruits. Well balanced, though still tastes entirely too young to be drinking now. Will only get better with time.

August 26, 2016 - In the decanter for 2 hours prior to drinking. Deep ruby red, structure in appearance starting to develop, freshness moving to depth. Dark ripe concentrated red fruit driven, bramble, undertone of anise. A big wine, full, intense, smooth and still developing, opened prematurely. Lovely, try again 2019.
