May 14, 2015 - Nose floral probably violet. Red fruit on palate and decent length. Wine surprised me.
January 12, 2014 - Really nice once it opened up after an hour or so. Just got better as the evening wore on.
November 9, 2013 - Mid-dark garnet, brick/amber edges; straightforward Cabernet nose, mint, berries, jam; good fruit extract; smoothing out; rich finish; a little hot. w/filet
September 7, 2013 - Mid-dark garnet, brick edges; ripe grape, berry/jam nose; mountain Cabernet; older Cab flavor; evolving; mid-body; tight tannins starting to soften; long finish. w/prime rib
January 3, 2013 - Great CA cab wine for $16...a little fruit forward for my preference but the wife loved it
November 4, 2011 - Short on nose but very nice after taste. Not a very big red buy very enjoyable and will repurchase more.
May 11, 2011 - Dark garnet; minty nose, hints of oak (American?); mid to big body; solid tannins, some life left; good fruit and finish; a little hot (alcohol listed as 14.1 to 15.1). Great with beef; peppercorn sauce.
