August 2, 2019 - Served blind as the first of five red wines. My guess was 15 year old Napa cab and the oldest red wine on the table. This was a 22 year old Napa cab, and was the oldest red wine on the table. Had all the classic aged blackberry notes, tobacco leaf in the middle with a hint of mint. I had the advantage of having a spotlight on my glass, which showed more sediment than any of the other reds. I guessed the producer to be Bond. Very classic expression of what I consider to be a true Napa Cabernet. Delicious. I preferred the second and third wines a little bit more, however those turned out to be a 1998 Chateau Haut Brion and 1997 Ornellaia Masseto......

June 15, 2019 - Drinking best among many of the 1997s I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy of late. Being a big ripe vintage, my Som buddies tell me these wines will eventually begin to fall apart but no sign of that yet. The color is rich and dark, captivating nose of berries, toasted wood, vanilla/baking spices, leather/coffee will similar follow through and mouthfeel. Napa at its best.

May 19, 2019 - Lovely wine with full body and notes of cherry. Had first with selected cheeses and then with prime filet cut and tomato and mozzarella salad! Was even better match with the steak!
