August 13, 2013 - This is a nice, relatively simple summer quaffer. Abit of oak, abit of peach, abit of nectarine and abit of petrol(reminiscent of Alsatian reisling) and all with a very good qpr.

January 11, 2013 - Green tinged straw, clear but not bright. Pear and slate on the nose, and on the creamier than expected palate, with a touch of lemon and quince on the finish. Nice. No wow. 86-87

October 25, 2012 - In Madrid. Dry with fresh apple and citrus flavors and some minerals. Nice acidic structure. Paired nicely with paella. Good basic stuff.

July 6, 2012 - Nothing great. I guess I should not have expected much atthe price. None of the characteristic musty flavors taht make good white rioja a treat.

May 6, 2012 - 13.0% alcohol. Light yellow color. Pretty nose of stone fruit, minerals, and a lightly spicy note. In the mouth, crisp and focused, with a solid burst of stony fruit backed up by a lightly spicy flash that has a bit of an herbal overtone to it. Solid finish. Good value. Fantastic summer porch wine. B+

April 29, 2012 - Very pale gold. Clean, fresh with some intrigue. Otherwise I would echo what Guido said in his notes a few days ago but score it slightly lower. A versatile interesting white that I'll buy again.

April 14, 2012 - The nose showed peach skins with raw almond, a hint of curry spice, and saline minerals. On the palate, it was light and fresh with zippy acidity, showing spiced apricot with bittersweet notes that continued through the finish. All and all a refreshing and highly enjoyable wine.

April 12, 2012 - Has a bit of tradition still showing off on the nose and palate. Touches of smoke and oxygen -- even though I am being told its all stainless steel. 86 pts RP -- pretty good bench press for Viuria.
