December 22, 2018 - Chicago Wine Flock...Champagne Gala (Park Ridge Country Club): Small glass, brief note. Very classically Gevrey with black fruit and game, also showing Grand Cru density, but maturing more quickly than most 2009 Grand Cru. I will drink my bottles within the next decade, if not sooner.

    December 22, 2018 - in fantastic shape
a nose to take to heaven
on the palate harmonious earth and fruit with beautiful secondary notes
doubt this can get any better with more time

July 14, 2014 - Dark. Cherry and cherry syrup nose and toasty oak. A certain smoke or charcoal flavour underlies the spicy cherry fruit. Silky, with tangy finish. Not a riveting GC - perhaps needs a few years to integrate the oak.

May 18, 2013 - Raspberries/strawberries, spice and mineral driven nose and palate. Elegant wine.

    SS 92pts.

April 19, 2012 - Definitely the winner of the '09 Champys tasted. Black fruits, rich, complex, with plenty of underlying structure to lay down. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves, especially since the '06 Mazis tasted same night was already drinking well.
