July 13, 2016 - Harmonious, dark fruits up front with soft ending tannins
March 26, 2016 - Still drinkable but past its prime for this wine.
It was stored in a climate controlled wine cellar.
January 25, 2014 - Wonderful red color. Strong fruity flavor at first that softens 30 minutes after decanting. Great compliment to hearty foods like beef stew.
February 16, 2013 - Skøn skøn vin. Avanceret Shiraz og pigernes absolutte ynglings rødvin.
August 24, 2012 - Enjoyed this at a restaurant. Loved it! BIG fruit flavor balanced with nice acidity. Very food friendly.
August 4, 2012 - just opened it to enjoy /w/ braised moroccan lamb dish...it is balanced, jammy and smokey...you know it is a cali production...it is very pleasant...not my style...my benchmark for syrah is st. cosme...this wine will have its fans...im drinking it...see what happens in a couple of hours...the alcohol does spike on the finish...oh boy...15.5 percent...
May 12, 2012 - Decanted for an hour. Lost some fruit but gained complexity over the next hour. Big wine, lots of smoke and game up front to balance the fruit, more spice and earth later. I like wines that some consider over the top and enjoyed this from start to finish.
April 23, 2012 - A huge nose of candied dark fruit, dark black purple in color. A very big Syrah, with black licorice, juicy dark berries flavors, candied fruit and spice, just a little overdone .
