  February 2, 2021 - In its prime !! Really tasting great right now !! Perfect cork after a decade in the bottle. Consumed over three days. This wine started a little tight, but opened up and showed better the next day. On day three the fruit was still fresh and acid still firm; this wine had softened to reveal increased depth, texture, and integrated complexity. Dark red color with little to no oxidation, and clarity medium. Aromas of black cherry, and vanilla. Flavors of cherry, raspberry, glycerin, and leather. This Rasteau has a nice long finish. Like a baby Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This age worthy wine may have more years of life left. I still have one more bottle of this vintage remaining; I may open it in the next year or so to verify my rating. A great fruit source and a good winemaking effort. Pair with Charcuterie and Olive Tapenade or grilled Lamb Chops.

  November 10, 2018 - After reading earlier comments I decided to postpone opening this bottle and was happy I did. Red fruit and a little spice that showed medium body, medium mouth feel, medium finish. Second day was even better
