November 20, 2009 - Deep golden color. So much oak that I really could not taste anything else. As my wife said, "Classic Cali Chardonnay." Proof that 'classic' does not always mean 'good.'

May 11, 2009 - Enjoyed as one of the introductory white wines earlier this evening during the social get-together prior to the main tasting at the Hickory Wine club. Overall very good but very oaky and buttery, stylistically very typical for big high-end Napa chards. Smooth, medium mouth feel, silky, surprisingly complex. Nose primarily of oak with hint of vanilla and flowers. Primary flavors definitely of well balanced oak and butter with complex burnt sugar and some orange and citrus. Well made wine but not to my taste, I prefer a drier and crispier style of white.

February 22, 2009 - Super, creamy, buttery chardonnay. Last of my bottles but it sure was good.

July 12, 2008 - This has aged well. Great vanilla flavor, but yet not oaky/woodsy. Husband described creaminess as "oreo cookie"

November 28, 2006 - Very oaky and richly buttery on the palate for this juicy char, but not refined enough to be considered outstanding.
