August 25, 2020 - Cherry and secondary notes of leather and tobacco on the nose. Soft tannins and balance between the tannins and acid - very nice given its age. Medium-long finish.

Overall a beautiful bottle of wine...

October 4, 2011 - From half bottle at La Caveau des Arches in Beaune. Not lacking acidity like some 2009s. Clearly from a very ripe vintage with some power, but not really the monster you might sometimes expect from Pommard. A decent bottle that needs at least a few years for the fairly apparent tannins to subside.
