  September 28, 2018 - Drouhin Clos des Mouches Vertical Dinner (+) with the Drouhins (S.K.Y. Restaurant - Chicago IL): Opened 3 hours before serving. More red vs black fruit with sweet fruit and savory spice and faint background mint. Great nose, good palate. Very good overall now.

  March 18, 2018 - I really enjoyed this so silky and soft like an aged Rioja minus the oak and vanilla. The nose was showing just a hint of maderisation. I could easily become a pinot fan if every bottle was like this.

  October 26, 2016 - Casual Burg Dinner with Friends (Formento's - Chicago IL): Open 30 minutes before serving. Started with sensational spearmint, eucalyptus, licorice and nicely mature red cherry aromas. Similar flavors, just slightly less alluring. Stayed persistent through an hour+, then slowly simplified. 95 point nose, 90 point palate. Much better than another bottle from the same case opened 4 years ago.
