December 27, 2013 - Ran through a Haley's corker into a vinturi and then drank from Reidel cab stems. Casis, some dark fruit and mocha aromas on the nose, medium full bodied, nice dark color. This is a well structured, Napa cab, similiar in many ways to the Robert Mondavi Napa Valley bottling, but more New World/bigger than the Robert Mondavi. On the 2nd day this wine had really opened up, casis, tobacco, black currant, black cherry, cigar box..very enjoyable. Should age well, for another 7-10 years, but no reason to wait any longer, tasty right now.
