    December 13, 2023 - From Magnum
    Dark cherry/garnet colour. No bricking.
Strong fruit with mushrooms. Initially concerned of light corking
Medium acidity, tannins medium+ but fully reconciled.
Plenty of time left but unlikely to improve.

September 30, 2022 - Probably corked, maybe heat damaged. Sadly just not drinkable

October 20, 2021 - Drank at CKH with the Blancos. Wonderful pinot nose of dirty socks (per the spouse). Wine doesn't show signs of age (dark outside tonite). Medium body, slightly viscous. There's some wood still remaining after 20 years, and delightful amount of red fruit as well--sweet cherries and strawberries galore! Also, notes of leather, peppery spice and some forest elements. The wine has a surprisingly youthful feel, primarily due to its still-potent fruit level. This wine is perhaps a bit on the modern side of the spectrum, & not particularly noticeable for/or exemplifying its terroir. However, a very enjoyable bottle nonetheless.

(Nicolas Potel Echezeaux) Beautiful, very ripe cherry, strawberry, vanilla and maple nose; tasty, strawberry, jammy palate, well structured; medium-plus finish
