January 12, 2017 - Very intense aromas of decaying mineral deposits. Some wet wool, maybe damp dog? Almost chenin-esque. Not a lot of fruit, but something sweet and floral in the background. Sharply acidic but a rich and spicy mid palate gives way to a fairly long finish. Downward slope for sure, but still holding up nicely.

April 7, 2016 - Super intense diesel aromas, especially pronounced on day 2. Stones, slate, touch of something sweet and lightly honeyed. Candied citrus peel. Viscous. Finish is bone dry and sharp. Minerality is prominent on the palate. Would think this is the best it is gonna get. Another bargain at less than $20 when purchased back in 2011.

April 2, 2015 - Dry with searing acidity. Plenty of lime and kerosine notes in both nose and palate. There is a perception of weight behind the flavour profiles which made the shortish length very surprising.

June 11, 2013 - I'm usually very cautious when drinking wines from big corporate organizations. But no need to worry here. This is an excellent example of how classic Aussie Riesling should be. Looking a little more golden than the last bottle. Lime, petrol aromas. Certainly a touch more developed - even some vegetal notes in there. Bone dry finish, lime fruit, with just a touch of sweetness on the mid palate. Racy acidity to balance the creamy weight. Superb value. Still drinking well on the second day after opening.

October 20, 2012 - Pale green colour with a nose of lemon, bit of lime, and the classic petrol note. This is a dry Riesling and was a bit cold at first. Its fairly weighty, maybe a bit creamy. There is enough acidity though, and the finish zings through. Decided to give this a few hours and broached again the next night, it was certainly softer but i'm not sure if it was better for that. One of those where your not sure what to do for the best. Decent wine at the price though.
