September 15, 2016 - Spot on stylistically, but a bit short on complexity. Very enjoyable, but fails to hit the high notes that old Barolo is capable of.

May 21, 2011 - The wine was decanted for about 1 hour before drinking. The wine had a strong, pleasant alcoholic aroma. At first the wine was "tight" and a bit acidic but with time the fruit came forth. This was a big, bold wine that was very easy to drink. It did not show its age, but was fresh and fruity once it got some oxygen. I am not sure how it would change with more time in the bottle, but it still seems to have considerable life left.
