July 25, 2012 - An excellent Burgundian-style Chardonnay. Nice floral notes on the nose, a bit of mineral on the palate, grassy in flavor. I liked it.
March 27, 2012 - Oxidized. Heard rumors that this was a problem with this bottling...guess they were right.
March 14, 2012 - Tart pear and citrus. Minerality on mid palate adds softness and roundness. Fades a bit on the mid when the minerals take over, but recovers with good energy on the med length finish.
February 4, 2012 - Tasted at the winery. The bottle was mildly corked.
December 13, 2011 - Honey suckle and baked apples with a kiss of oak. Another enjoyable bottle.
December 5, 2011 - Very fruit forward wine and a great QPR. I got a little oak on the finish well. Vibrant and definitely on the sweeter side.
October 22, 2011 - Finally got some bottles home after being wowed by this wine at the tasting room in Los Olivos. Time for a more thorough evaluation.
Extremelt light straw color, light perfume on the nose. A distinct touch of sweetness, like a spatlese Riesling. Very well made, this is a very tasty wine. Good value. I'm looking forward to future efforts.
September 24, 2011 - Tasted at Tensley's tasting room in Las Olivos. Flat out delicious.
August 8, 2011 - Los Olivos Tasting: Oak and pear on the nose. Lemon and apple in the mouth, crisp finish. Nice style chardonnay. Look forward to Jennifer's future wines.
July 30, 2011 - Tensley tasting room in Los Olivos. Pretty unremarkable except for some alcohol on the finish.
