July 23, 2015 - This is surprisingly good. Served blind. On the nose there's red bright cherries and raspberries with soil, and some animal notes just showing. On the palate it's medium bodied, with a touch of sweetness and warm red fruit, but it's balanced out by a high acidity and gentle tannins. Wouldn't have picked this wine from the shelf, if i had not tasted it, but it really shows well, and probably will for another year or two.

July 9, 2011 - bright, clear and varietally correct. Off-dry. About all you can ask for and a little more from a wine at this price.
