  December 17, 2013 - Light to medium red, definitely a deep colour for a Coteaux Champenois. An impressive and Burgundian nose with cherries with a touch of candied cherries, some ripe strawberries, spice and oak, a bit of herbaceous notes in the background, and some flowery notes. Medium bodied, cherries (morellos) and cranberries, high acidity, spice, rather light but still present tannins, and a long aftertaste with pronounced mineral notes. A quite credible wine also by Burgundian standards, although the high acidity indicates that it comes from a cooler place than Côte d'Or. (And would knock the socks of many red 2004s from Burgundy.) Definitely one the best Coteaux Champenois I've tasted. 88 p.
  Drinks well now, has the acidity to be cellared for long, and would work fine if it gets more mature notes as well.

  March 23, 2013 - not sure what i think. clearly different flavor profile than burgundy, and it will possibly improve with age as it was definitely better on the second day. still, not super impressed on the first day.

  December 31, 2011 - New Year´s dinner (Brussels): A lot darker than other growers Cot. Champ.
  Good fruit concentration and acidity. Still some tannins and a hint of oak to resolve. Will probably be mature and excellent in 3-4 years.
