October 16, 2023 - Fantastic bouquet. Green pepper is strong on the palate with bramble berry and smooth silky tannins. Drinking beautifully right now. Excellent qpr.

September 20, 2023 - Nose: Sweet and ripe raspberry jam, light funk and hint of Christmas spice. Palate: initially there is tart and chalky blackberry, but with time in the glass a stronger dark grape skin flavor emerges; mild oak and fine grained tannins. While the nose suggests something ripe and fruity, the palate is much leaner and more tart than expected, giving this wine a split personality between its nose and taste.

August 29, 2023 - 30 minute decant in glass. Nose is medicinal cherry and faint ash. Subtle cherry, earth, herbs on the palate. Mature but not done, velvety smooth. Really excellent qpr. Would drink any remaining bottles soon.

April 19, 2023 - Great stuff. Earthy, herbal, and faint fruit in the background. Mature enough and opened up nicely with some time. My main knock on it was a bitter streak at various points, but the aromatics more than made up for it in my books.
