December 4, 2022 - Winefield's auction pre-sale tasting: Lovely deep colour, fresh fruit in the bouquet, a 'cool' impression, good bitters and firm tannins,

October 8, 2022 - decanted an hour and drank out of a Glasvin Aromatic. The wine looks inky colored with little to no bricking at the edges. There is moderate sediment in the bottle, nothing a quick decant doesn't take care of. On the nose fig, lead pencil, black currant, and black cherry. The wine tannins are receding and tertiary flavors are starting to peek past the fruit. A bit thin without the silky mouthfeel you'd see on a higher end bottle. A slightly bitter/astringent streak on the back end. short/medium finish.

Overall, this is a perfectly fine 12 year old bottle of wine. The nose is better than the taste. Not something I would seek out, but definitely an enjoyable bottle.

August 13, 2021 - Opens up with a nose of flowers and ripe fruit. Dark colored, ripe dark fruit, marks of chocolate and tobacco, tertiary notes. Pushing the envelope but not breaking it. Needs a good steak. Will improve with more age I think.
