February 15, 2019 - Inexpensive Cali Bordeaux blend that is finally settling down despite the estimated CT drinking window. Dark fruit, chocolate, spices, showed pretty well with some decanter time.

December 12, 2018 - Full deep fruity start with black cherry and pepper deep rich color. Smooth midpalate low tannins

September 11, 2015 - 'Dry' is right. Over-oaked and over here!

October 19, 2014 - Pretty good not so expensive meritage, with chocolate, cedar, ripe black fruits, good finish, nice mouthfeel.

March 21, 2013 - Nice Bordeaux style blend. Picked up a my local Costco, popped and poured... Cherries and spice on the nose, silky texture, smooth, nice fruit but no bomb, present but reserved tannins, boysenberries and dark chocolate on the medium nice finish, great QPR at $26... A good wine to share with friends... Will pick up a few more on my next trek to Costco.

(Dry Creek Vineyard The Mariner) Very dark ruby color; ripe cassis, ripe berry, ripe plum, light cedar nose; tasty, tart cassis, black raspberry, ripe plum, cedar palate; drinking fine now but would benefit from a year of bottle age; medium-plus finish (48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot, 6% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc; 26 mos in French oak, 52% new; 14.5% alcohol)
