February 28, 2020 - Served blind. Quite a deep mature golden hue, the nose had excellent density and richness and powerful but beautifully integrated oak. The palate was equally broad and generous with super balance. Mature but in no way tired, this was deeply impressive and delicious. Has the balance to keep going but is in a beautiful spot so no need to wait.

February 4, 2020 - Subtle citrus and island fruit on palate, that balanced with plenty of mellow acidity. Perfect with a creamy pasta with cubes of acorn squash. Would also work with chicken or mild fish with a savory tropical fruit salsa.

November 25, 2019 - This wine is singing now at 10 years old. Pineapple, lemon curd, grapefruit, melon, white flowers and stony minerality on the nose. Acidity is fantastic, bursting with citrus, lemon, lime, grapefruit with hints of beeswax and a wonderful creamy, leesy rich mouth feel. Oak is present and still a touch firm if I had to find a fault. Overall, outstanding..

January 23, 2019 - Colour a bit off-putting (a touch of green - looks like limoncello) but very clean. Exquisite nose - lemons and limes and pine nuts. Beautiful body, creamy and opulent, but good, sharp and assertive acidity. An impressive wine, if, to my taste, a touch too "international". I expect it to gain complexity with age, and more local character.

March 20, 2017 - Deep yellow. Opulent nose of dry stone fruit, cream, a whisper of oak. Focused deep core of fruit on the palate, great delineation, vibrant acid finish. Very colorful, a great Aussie chardonnay. 50 + 16 + 17 + 8 = 91.
