May 29, 2023 - From our cellar. This was fantastic. An outstanding wine in every way. Beautiful bouquet, slightly maroon in color, full bodied, cascading with an endless array of flavors: plum, cherry, blackberry, licorice, mocha, raisin, sage, mineral. Super smooth, perfect balance, extraordinarily long finish. Wow, what a treat. I wish I had more. Drink now or continue to hold.

August 17, 2021 - This wine is very serious, tannic, and tarry. Notes of roses and sandalwood add modest aromatic complexity, but this is really a wine for people who like the dark aspects of Barolo.

June 3, 2020 - Stewed red fruits, tar, herbs, a hint of rose. Secondaries are emerging nicely, but the fruit is still present. After about an hour open it was in a really nice place. No hurry to drink.
