February 10, 2024 - Under screwcap. Pnp. Pours pale, crystalline yellow with silver highlights. Lightly buttered popcorn, lanolin, mown lawn, oyster shell lemon zest and yellow plum on the nose. Lovely and round and full on the palate, perfect acidity, balanced alcohol and a long mouth-coating finish. Flavours of fleshy yellow plum, lemon grass, lanolin, white beeswax, lemon and fresh tarragon on the palate. Long fleshy, tangy finish. Spectacular! Easy 96 points!!

July 22, 2023 - Finally starting to turn golden. And the development is translating to the bouquet and palate too. It’s starting to flesh out in a classic hunter sem profile. It’s changing out of third gear with a lot of expectations ahead of it. Worth trying a bottle now if you’re long, otherwise remain patient from here.

July 15, 2023 - Elements starting to integrate but the general impression remains of a wine in its youth. Exotic fruits and lime zest with field herb nuances. Fresh and vibrant on the palate.
Drinking well now and probably even better in 5+yrs time. Splendid. Till 2031 (at least). 92+

May 30, 2023 - Rather disappointing. Nose wasn’t super expressive and there was a real zucchini taste that didn’t mesh well with the straw and honey characteristics. Maybe too old??

    January 15, 2023 - Appearance - Deep straw (3)
Aroma - Lemon zest, wet stone, green apple, hints of honey (4)
Taste/Texture - Zippy citrus builds throughout. Green apple, stone fruit and honeysuckle all in there. Medium body with bracing high acidity at the finish. (5)
Aftertaste - Citrus and butteriness linger, along with some toasty notes and stone fruit. Hint of white pepper. There are elements of this tasting oaked...but it's not. (3)
Overall - Plenty of life ahead. Taste/texture better than aroma, and the aftertaste is better again, an excellent drop. (2)
    Total Score - 17/20
