  January 19, 2015 - Dark and minerally right off the bat. Opens up with a little white pepper - almost Syrah-like in that way. Delicious and well behaved, in a nice spot. Tannins are still there but not overwhelming. Some of the meaty qualities are coming out with some air, and I suspect some earth my join in as well. This is getting heavier with air.

  October 2, 2014 - Big floral nose, it's got a lot of dark berry and strawberry fruit and is picking up some secondary notes, it has lost the bitter bite on the finish that I did not like the last time I had this. Very nice

  April 20, 2013 - PnP - strawberry/raspberry fruit up front, juicy and succulent but not over-ripe. Medium bodied and lightly oaked, with well integrated tannins that take over from the fruit in mid-palate, leading to a pleasant and longish finish. All the parts of this wine seem to be working in synergy right now.

  January 27, 2013 - Highly tannic upon opening, devolving into pure alcohol as it opened, then mellowing with a couple of hours of air, into a more elegant buttery raspberry toned wine.

  August 8, 2012 - PnP: Strawberries and minerality. Delicious.
  After a while the strawberry is still there, both on the nose and flavour-wise, but earth has joined in and there's some spice going on also. Nicely balanced, too.
