  January 20, 2014 - Flowers, clay, red currants, plums and earth. Silky and dignified on the palate. Still quite grippy.

  April 20, 2012 - Deep ruby with hint of garnet on rim. Intense nose with Bordeaux-style aromas henced with a bit of jammyness and ripe fruits. You don't really notice any big matured aromas or flavours even though this is 17 years old - pretty fresh fellow and will stay at it's peak for a couple of years. Great stuff with entrecote.

  August 7, 2011 - Sampled 8/6/11. Perfectly smooth - silk. Clearly and Italian Bordeaux blend with the Merlot showing more than the Cab Sauv. The earthiness (terrior) elements are distinctive for this wine and I could see how some people would love them and others not like them. I found like them interesting but not my first choice. A wine that is clearly at its peak. Very little sediment. Probably another 2-4 years in top form for well stored bottles.
