December 7, 2012 - Slightly more tannic than the 2010, but still very good. Red fruit, light oak, very food-friendly.
April 23, 2012 - Nose of wet pine wood, like walkin in a pine forest just after it rained. Then more fruit with cherry chocolate liquor bonbons. Strong wine, quite alcoholic, but not too much acidity as you would expect. The american oak gives it a "new world" - wine like touch, but definitely not in a negative way.
July 24, 2011 - Sweet dark blue nose, dark cherries. Very lush dark fruit, big with acids to balance, rich sensuous mouth. Good length on finish, some tannins. Scented. Lovely wine but give it a while for the weight and alcohol to settle
