December 2, 2022 - Lewis makes wonderful wines, and this vintage was no exception. But, one needs to be patient and always decant - perhaps more than once.
This bottle showed lovely dark fruit (on the nose and the palate), a richness and had a long finish. The color was rich and dark, and everything was in balance. -

February 6, 2022 - With Filet Mignon…..
Wow Amazing!
Decanted for about 45 minutes abd drunk the next 2 hours. Dark Fruit and wonderful herb of Provence mix.
Slight glycerin and smoke.
Tannins almost totally resolved. One of the best bottles I have ever had! -

January 16, 2021 - Enjoyed from a magnum. Decanted and hour and enjoyed with friends over a few hours. This was very special bottle of wine. Hints of licorice and leather on the nose. Soft tannins and a smooth, velvety finish. Wonderfully mature Napa Cabernet.

April 5, 2018 - Purple, no age showing, grilled herbs, smoked meat and dark fruit nose. Mature, but still has a lot of bright fruit, dust, subtle earthiness and ripe plum. Still balanced acidity. Finishes with black cherry and vanilla. Nice blend of fruit and savory secondary flavors. Would not guess this was 22!
