April 26, 2020 - Color suggests some maturity.
Pleasant nose -- some fruit, but also earthy and a bit of menthol. Definitely not a fruit bomb. Quite nice.
Palate a bit lean for a Pomerol, with nice spicy notes. Still shows some tannin, but well integrated. Not going anywhere -- but don't know if it will get a lot better.
Good, not great. Pleasant drink on a Tuesday.

October 30, 2018 - - Garnet color with medium forming legs. It's balanced with a light/medium body. Narrow texture with a short finish - Past its peak for sure.

May 29, 2017 - Purplish/brown. Heavy sediment given the age but the bottle opened nicely. May be on the down slope but still a solid bottle. 60 min decant.

March 21, 2017 - Bordeaux-themed Night (La Fleur Petrus) (Extra Space): Tasted blind. Poured into decanter and drank over 3 hours.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of animal meat, cedar, tobacco, cigar, blackberry, slight vanilla. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), refined high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of blackcurrant, blackberries, cedar, tobacco, cigar. Long finish.
Very good quality. Elegant Right Banker. Nice meat on the nose, refined on the palate. Time to drink up and enjoy.

December 11, 2016 - Garnet with a emerging rusty rim. Still plenty of life in this wine. Aromas of tobacco, earth, detritus, with a menthol edge. On the palate well integrated tannins and acid, same dark earthy flavors. A great bottle.
