October 25, 2018 - Although very good with Asian food - think thai curry - this was just OK with white asparagus done steamed and then sauteed with truffle butter.
It lacks some minerality and punch to make it a good pairing. OK it was.

March 8, 2018 - Round tropical fruit with bracing flinty acidity. Good persistence. Love the balance.

November 4, 2017 - My last bottle, unfortunately. This is drinking very well. Love the saline, mineral finish.

September 17, 2017 - Nico's Night of Wonders (Chez Siggy & Jenny's Place, Mpls, MN): Light-medium gold color. DRank 1 glass over 30 minutes. Simply delicious and a great pairing with Brad's wonderful halibut. Fantastic texture, pineapple, and succulent peach, tart and tropical, long and lifted. 92+pts.

September 8, 2017 - This wine has hit its stride. Open and giving, it is bone dry with lovely aromatics and a zippy spine of acidity. Lovely from start to finish and a great accompaniment to a selection of Thai food tonight.

(François Chidaine Montlouis Les Choisilles) This cuvée usually includes fruit from Clos Renard and Les Epinais although these also give fruit to the moelleux cuvée when the vintage is suitable. Sweet still-fermenting apples and pears here, still clearly very youthful. A fine presence on the palate, with a very appealing gentle texture to the wine cut through by a precise, defined, crunchy-mineral acidity. Great minerality here. This could be delicious.
