November 29, 2023 - still drinking well, ironically had with Italian beef again. Total coincidence, not planned.

May 21, 2023 - Tired and over baked. Burnt sugar, maderized taste. The provenance on this bottle was not ideal. I think it sat in a high end grocery store for at least 2 years before my wife purchased it.

March 25, 2022 - Definitely in it's prime. Decanted for 3 hours; had with Italian Beef Stew. Excellent pairing. Wine was smooth, tannins fully integrated and soft. Enough acid to hold up to the tomato in the stew. One bottle remains, will hold for while longer.

October 5, 2018 - Drinking well right now. Tobacco, cherry and a little licorice on the nose. Soft tannins. Very nice!
