    August 26, 2022 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -med red
    -dark cherry tar earth
-med+ acidity really bites hard on the finish, med/med- weight pleasant black cherry earth tar, chewy med+ tannins
-has mellowed a bit in the past 7 years though still highly structured without a lot of weight, the structure makes it more soulful than harsh, the fruit seems to be on the verge of developing mature notes, should do well for many more years

    April 27, 2021 - Decanted -
Translucent burnt orange-red, brownish edges (which scared me...)
But, wine was okay, not corked
Dry, tart cherries with spice and aromatic textures that linger into long finish
Needs to be accompanied by food (no surprise there)
    Drink 'em up NOW

December 31, 2019 - Good fruit, medium tannins, needs years to shine.

August 15, 2019 - Fascinating bit of Piemonte. Described as full nebbiolo, it has quite a different profile from standard nebbiolo or barolo. The nose is dark, dark, dark fruit, but with some green grass and spice. The palate is dark fruit along with a big hit of spice. Chewy, acidic with a mineral backbone, with some definite tannins still showing 12 years in. A delicious drink all around, but I would have never guessed it to be nebbiolo.

    June 14, 2015 - PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs
-mostly opaque dark red with some mild bricking
    -reserved cedar tobacco cherry
-med acidity, middle weight with somewhat unyielding high-toned earth tar tobacco and red fruit, med+ tannins
-needs more time or a lot more air
