August 30, 2020 - Now well matured entry-level Bordeaux with smooth tannins and a quite pleasant flavour. Seems that aging slightly improved this bottle to an easy drinking, decent red B.

October 21, 2015 - Light quaffer, with an earthy, red berry character that requires early drinking.

March 16, 2015 - Best basic BDX I've had even if it is not a complete bargain at $20. Fluffy blackberry and green fruits, super soft tannin. Really quite pleasant drinking and in good shape at 5yrs although the fruit is just starting to dip.

November 19, 2014 - Surprisingly flat body. Nose and aftertaste were good, though.

August 23, 2014 - Cloud Wine European Wine Store Bordeaux Tasting (European Wine Store): Delicate blackcurrant nose with milk chocolate, violet, and raspberry leaf with some chalky tannins with ripe black fruits, but a short finish.

August 19, 2014 - Bordeaux Star Performers Tasting (8 Danks street, Sydney): Aromas of red over black currant, biscuit, cream vanilla and a slightly dusty quality. In the mouth the wine has flavours of cream and spice with very little fruit. There is a touch of talc like tannin and it's all over quite quickly, thank heavens. Nah.

November 23, 2013 - Nice nose, more dark fruit than cedar. On palate, a good amount of ripe fruit and relaively restrained tannins. Shows what minor bordeaux can do in a good year
