December 21, 2018 - Tannins show nicely, well -balanced. Some fruitiness, most of the sugar is gone but just the right amount is still there. For me, at least, it is the right time to open the bottle.
February 21, 2016 - Too old. Interestingly jammy but too flawed to consume at this point. Bummer.

June 24, 2015 - Two of three bottles had turned and were undrinkable. One was on its last legs. Some residual fruit flavors but difficult to identify.
December 15, 2013 - Not lively enough to convince me, still a nice wine.
September 22, 2012 - This one is loosing its stuffing. Drinkable but not the wine it was several years ago.
December 17, 2011 - Vertical tasting along with '04 and '06. Decanted all three bottles simultaneously, tasted at various times thereafter.
10 minutes: Mellow earthy nose. Modest blackberry fruit. Brambly and spicy, slightly bitter.
2 hours: Well balanced, by consensus the best of the three at the Danish Christmas party, but not exceptional. Drinking well now and should hold a few more years.

July 3, 2011 - Ripe dark fruits, bit etoh; flabby at first, some structured tannins, good fruit. Decent, ready to drink. 83
May 11, 2011 - Well integrated now. Soft tannins, acidity is there mixed with black fruits and mocha. Nice finish.
