November 25, 2011 - Friday after Thanksgiving (Palm Beach, FL): Muddy red color. Shellac nose laced with red fruits. Great mushroom and rhubarb palate comes across far younger than it should. Very alive; nice wine.

November 25, 2011 - Friday after Thanksgiving (FAT) (Palm Beach Gardens FL): Bottle was in great condition, even if label was mostly tattered. Still quite alive with good earthy, mushroomy character on both nose and palate. Expectations were high given how much the auction house built up this wine at an auction a year or two ago. So it was amazing for a 75+ year old 1er wine if NOT for those expectations.
