August 1, 2015 - Etheral nose of lavender, oak and muted fruit. Spice, cardamom, game and earth notes on the palate. Medium body, nice acidity, smooth mouthfeel, clean finish. Interesting and easy-drinking.
November 26, 2014 - Bought this bottle to drink more Spanish wines. Went head to head with a right bank budget bdx. Was much lighter in color and had a mellow flavor. Lovely wine ....just different from the bdx which everone preferred.
September 3, 2013 - herbs and spices and rugged rocks on the nose
tangy, chewy but not over tannic
lots of freshness
September 2, 2013 - Relatively soft/approachable for a young Priorat. 89-90 [Justerini's Spain/Italy wine tasting Sep 2, 2013, London].
April 5, 2013 - Warm, open and aromatic on the intense nose with cherry liquorice, chocolate, cardamom and dusty wood.
Fullbodied and nicely balanced for the age. Good concentration brought alive by the balanced acidity. Good mid-palate intensity. Notes of chocolate and dusty wood. A bit thin feel in the aftertaste.
Needs time, but very promising.
September 13, 2012 - Dark red, red rim, 6. Intense nose dominated by heavy red fruit and some lacquer notes. Same goes for the palate, tannins, sweetness and a bit heavy. Drink 2017 onwards.
