December 10, 2013 - Gorgeous clean lines with good green fruit and crisp acids that are so very well balanced. Hints of some tropical fruits and a very long finish. Gimme more!

October 2, 2011 - Austrian Riesling 2010; 9/14/2011-12/31/2011: Pale white gold; bright. Gorgeous nose of zingy lime, lemon sherbet, sweet tropical fruits (pineapple, mango) and a bit of steeliness and minerality too. Nicely balanced and very more-ish on the palate. Long finish.

    2011 Austrian Catalog, 5/1/2011 (link)

(Nigl Riesling Senftenberger Piri) ($40.00) Thick and dense, soaked with pulverized terroir and extract, and a greeny aloe-wintergreen sweetness that’s just haunting; the best vintage ever of this wine. My note was shortened by the sudden appearance of the next wine…
